Scholarships

The Santa Rosa County Master Gardener Association (SRCMGA) college scholarship program extends its mission of educating the public by providing financial support to deserving students who are pursuing or desire to pursue an education in the fields of horticulture, forestry, floriculture, parks and natural resources or a related agricultural field. Eligibility decisions are  made in compliance with state and federal law and without regard to race, creed, color, religion, sex, age, handicap or national origin. In 2008, this scholarship was named in memory of Dennis Snyder, former Santa Rosa County Master Gardener, in recognition of his many contributions to the Master Gardener program. The annual scholarship selection is done in collaboration with UF IFAS West Florida Research and Education Center faculty in Milton, FL.
